The Scholastic Book Fair is officially open this week at Gower West! Students are browsing clipboards in hand, curating their wish lists, and discovering new stories that spark their curiosity.

The Scholastic Book Fair arrives next week! Students will have a chance to preview the Book Fair on Monday, explore the books, and create their wish lists.

You may see Gower West students and staff making a “T” sign with their hands. It’s part of Capturing Kids’ Hearts (CKH) and stands for “timeout.”
The “T” is a quiet, respectful reminder to pause, think about our Social Contract, and make a different choice if needed.
It’s not about getting someone in trouble; it’s about helping each other self-correct, show respect, and be our best!

Leadership is taking off at Gower West! Our fourth graders are stepping into new leadership roles through our Bus Leader Program, where they help set a positive example, support younger students, solve problems, and build a strong school community.
